REMEMBERING COVID-19

Commissioned by Davis Cemetery District

Working closely with the Davis Cemetery District, researched, designed and developed a PDF to accurately capture the pandemic for our target audience of Elementary School aged children. I focused on creating relatable characters and scenarios that were engaging, colorful and would allow the viewer to come back and explore multiple times.

I started my process with extensive research about the COVID-19 pandemic both overall pandemic statistics and local Yolo county data. I aimed to stick with data and facts that would relate to a younger audience who might not remember the changes and effects of the pandemic today. After researching, I developed a rough draft with sketches and topics for review. After addressing valuable feedback from the Davis cemetery I launched into developing a full draft. Finally color illustrations and interactivity was added for the final result.
